So yesterday the power went out about 2pm. Connor had already napped and Colin was at the daycare. I decided that Connor and I would have a shower. When I was ready to get into the shower Connor decided that he wanted to play instead so into the shower I went. I was just starting to put the shampoo in my hair when I realized "oh yeah, the power is out!". I figured, no biggie I will be done before the warm water runs out...then 5 seconds later the water stops completely!! I remember that I live on a farm and the pump can't pump water to the house without electricity >_< GAH lol.
Wait for it...there's more yet ;D
I get out, dripping wet with shampoo in my hair and go to the kitchen to heat up the kettle with expensive water cooler water to rinse myself off with. As I am waiting for the kettle to heat up I updated my facebook status with my phone. Then I put my hand on the kettle to see if it is hot yet...YET ANOTHER BLONDE MOMENT. Of course the kettle is stone cold because DUH there is no power to use it!! LMAO
Needless to say I ended up rinsing myself off with cold cooler water and of course the power came back on a minute after I was done o_O.
