Lots of new things...

Quite a bit has happened since I last posted…not hard to do over the course of a month though! Lol

The boys and I have had a lot of fun this summer, our camping trip was shorter than expected but we still got to go down to the T-Rex center in Eastend. The boys got to break open “rocks” and find a fossil inside. They had a blast doing that. We went to the outdoor pool a few times and played in the spray parks in Swift a lot. Ray hadn’t been working too much, which was nice in the sense that he was close to home and got to spend time with the family. What wasn’t so nice was the lack of money coming in, so I have found myself in the workforce yet again. I was able to find a job rather quickly(it only took three days from entering the store to starting my first day). I noticed on a friends’ facebook status that she was looking for someone to work in her department at the Wholesale Club. I was in there the one day getting groceries and we started talking and next thing I knew she had me filling out the ‘test’ that new hires have to fill out and the background check paperwork. I was officially approved the next day. I work Monday to Friday and from 7am to noon in the produce dept. I really lucked out in the shift department and am glad that I still get the majority of the day with the boys.

Ray is actually in Medicine Hat again right now working for Essential on their rigs up there. It will be nice to have a bit heftier paycheck from him again but I will be glad to see him home as well. Nobody is quite sure why there has been such a sudden drop in calls for the flush by units, but hopefully it picks up again soon. Ray was saying tonight that maybe it is because of the flooding down by Weyburn/Estevan…all their rigs are up in this area and he thinks that possibly the companies are putting them to use instead of calling out the flush by trucks.
