Going camping...

The boys and I are going to go camping this week. : ) We are taking my mom with us, Ray has to work but hopefully will get some time this week to come up. It has been a while since we have gone car camping, it should be a blast!!

We are going to one of my favorite places on earth, Cypress Hills(SK side). I thought about going somewhere new, but will wait until Ray can make a trip with us for something like that. I can fondly remember trips up to Cypress from when I was little and am still visiting now as a grown up and happy thrilled to share it with my kids. We were able to go up for a day and a half in February(read about that here) and have stopped for a few hours a couple times since then, but it will be nice to be able to stay for a while this time.

I plan on taking the boys out to see Ft Walsh which I haven't been to since I was young myself...probably about 10 years old? I also want to go down to the T Rex Discovery Centre which I haven't been to yet. It should be exciting, there is supposed to be a new exhibit set up this week displaying a Tylosaur skeleton from the Royal Saskatchewan Museum. Hopefully it will be set up in time for us to see it, but if not, it's a good reason to come back!
